Smallest Space Heater (Electric) Options for Home Use
When you need an additional heat source that takes up little room, here are the smallest space heater (electric) options for home use that work well in most situations.
For convenience and a clean, no-nonsense heating solution, it's hard to beat a small ceramic electric space heater that can deliver useful heat from a really small, space-saving source.
Perfect for the home office where available space may be at a premium, in a bedroom that needs some extra heating or even as an additional heat source in a family room, electric ceramic space heaters are the perfect solution!
What Do I Rate as Best?
My current favorite space-saving model is the "SmartDevil Space Heater" and it can be conveniently obtained from Amazon at a surprisingly affordable price.
It's my go-to additional heat source because while only standing 8.2 inches high and 5.4 inches wide, it can deliver up to 1500 watts of heat that you can really feel. I place it just under my desk in my office and it keeps my toes nice and warm under there!
You can see it for yourself in the image on this page and just to be super helpful, I have provided a special link that you can click that will open the product page at Amazon for you.
That's so you don't have to go searching through a ton of pages to find it!
What Does it Do?
This model is really easy to use, with three power settings from cool air to 800W heat to 1500W heat.
If you want the unit to oscillate to spread the warmth around some more, a simple toucch of the swing button sets it moving in a 70° arc back and forth.
It is made of flame retardant material so is resistant to catching fire and has a safety tip protection that shuts the heater off if it gets accidentally tipped over.
Oh, and it's very quiet in operation at just 45 decibels max you'll hardly hear it while it's keeping you nice and warm.
Does Small Size Mean Low Power?
It's quite common to equate a small device with a similarly small power output, but ceramic heaters are capable of delivering a lot of really usable heat from a really small unit.
Because of their design, a ceramic heating element uses far less surface area to produce a lot of heat than would a traditional coiled wire electric element. That means more power can be squeezed into a smaller appliance without compromising on delivering much needed warmth.
Summary
If you want a small additional heat source for your room that doesn't take up much space yet provides plenty of useful heat, this little ceramic heater does the job.
You can put it under a desk to warm your legs and feet or right up there on the desk to warm your face and hands if needed. Great for the bedroom at night or the study by day, it goes wherever you need it to go.
It pushes out a steady stream of heat right where you need it quietly and unobtrusively so you can get on with whatever you're doing and hardly know it's even there!
I bet really want one now, don't you?
