Rated at 1,300 CFM (cubic feet pre minute) airflow, this cooler can cool an indoor area of up to 500 sq ft. It can also cool you down outdoors by the pool, on your patio or wherever else you need a blast of chilled air to make a hot day bearable.
This swamp cooler is really easy to operate. It has no complicated electronic gadgetry to mess about with.
There are some simple manual controls on the panel which:
- Turn it on or off
- Set the fan speed (hi or lo)
- Adjust the louvres to set the direction of the airflow
- Set it to cool with water or run with the fan only
For the water supply, you can choose to simply fill the generous 4.8 gall tank and turn it on to run for up to 8 hours. Or you can hook it up to a garden hose for continual water fill, for example when using outdoors in high temperatures.

This is a compact yet powerful swamp cooler measuring 37x17x24 ins, which is comparable to a regular portable air conditioner. It has an output of 3,100 cu ft per minute (CFM).
This cooler has 3 fan speeds with oscillating louvers to provide even air distribution, wide coverage and comfort.
Pros
This cooler comes with manual controls, which may sound a little backward in tech terms. However, this is actually a far easier way to control a great swamp cooler like this one. There are three simple rotary controls, which are are all you need for controlling:
- Fan (hi, med, low, off)
- Oscillation motor (on, off)
- Pump (on, off)
With no digital controls to fight with or remote to lose down the sofa, this amazing cooler is one of the simplest to operate in its class!
It has a large 10.3 gallon water tank, that lets the unit run for 3-4 hours before needing a refill. Alternatively, you can connect it to a standard hose for continuous operation. Its powerful airflow means it can cool up to 950 sq ft indoors, which is a pretty large space.
Cons
While it may only weigh 40 lbs when empty, it gets heavy with a 10 gallon tank full of water. If you need to move it, do it when it's empty - it's easier!
You will need to do some self-assembly yourself upon delivery, such as attaching the wheels and giving it a quick wipe down. Everything else comes pre-assembled.
